    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Alumni Coordinator
    • Coordinate and implement alumni and donor events, programs and activities.
    • Develop and implement social media plan to increase alumni participation and engagement.
    • Assist in writing and proofreading alumni communications including event invitations, newsletters, brochures and related materials.
    • Ensure assigned web pages are up-to-date and error free. Ensure timely administration of alumni membership processing. Facilitate board meetings and committee meetings as needed.
    • Maintain assigned database and keep information current.
    • Ensure vendor vouchers, contracts and payments are completed in a timely manner.
    • Provide administrative support to the Office of Advancement as needed.
    • Represent the Office of Advancement at University events as appropriate.
    • Works with Director of Alumni Relations and/or Alumni Manager on assigned projects for the AUM Alumni Association and Office of Advancement.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of applicable Alumni Affairs policies and procedures.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interact with alumni, visitors, community partners, faculty, staff and students
    • Strong oral and written communication skills Problem analysis skills
    • Ability to pay attention to details
    • Ability to respond to multiple competing demands Ability to assess program progress and goals
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with a diverse constituency base
    • Ability to process, review, and evaluate documents
    • Ability to use computer software programs to include but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (4 years of relevant experience).

    The successful candidate will be responsible for attending evening and weekend University events as needed.
