Essential Duties
- Serves as the office receptionist, greeting and routing calls and visitors.
- Responds to emails and general correspondence received.

- Coordinates, assembles, reviews, and mails materials for various letters and mailings.
- Assists and works with student alumni ambassadors and related events as needed
- Assists with MUWAA Board and Foundation Board meetings, projects, and correspondence as needed.
- Responsible for Alumni birthday recognition including birthday cards, ordering flowers and gifts
- Assists in all aspects of alumni and major events, include RSVP’s, nametags, etc.
- Process incoming mail, date stamp, and distribute
- Maintain front office area.
- Responsible for accounting duties, purchase orders and check request
- Cross trains with Administrative Assistant and Financial Assistant
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.Job Description Summary
Experience: One to two years administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; background in business, communications, marketing and/or computer science is desirable.Performs receptionist, administrative, and office management duties as required for the operation of the Office of Development & Alumni.Hours of Availability Background Check StatementPrior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.
