Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Job Description
Provides safe and efficient response, treatment, and transportation of all persons requesting or requiring emergent or non-emergent medical services. Using advanced equipment found on an ambulance, AEMT’s may provide treatment on site or during an ambulance transportation in trauma, cardiac, or respiratory emergencies. An advanced EMT may also administer medication and fluids to patients as necessary.
