Analyst, Procurement jobs in Columbia, MD

Key Role:

Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience working with vendors on the development of BOMs and procurement packages
• Experience procuring hardware and software COTS solutions for military and government agencies, including software license procurements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with government clients to obtain requirements, develop procurement packages, and work with purchaser representatives in a timely manner to meet operational deadlines
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with budgets, acquisitions, data entry, and record keeping
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and network monitoring specialists to obtain and fine-tune government procurement requirements
• Ability to gather, analyze, and present or communicate information effectively, and meet critical deadlines
