Key Activities/Responsibilities

• Coordinate project workflow with various ESG divisions & external suppliers.
• Maintain supplier quote information for certain sites in specific ERP systems.
• Request and analyze pricing proposals from potential suppliers and communicate results to team members.
• Support the implementation of various procurement sourcing tools, services & processes and then maintain the on-going functionality.
• Prepare enterprise-wide spend rollup information from numerous sites utilizing different ERP systems.
• Prepare and track support materials for various projects.
• Other duties as assigned, such as organizing supplier meetings, preparing presentations, various time-sensitive assignments.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or other related area required; or minimum of 5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree
• A minimum of 5 years of procurement in experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills as this position interacts with people at different levels of the organization, within several different groups of Federal Signal, and with external companies / suppliers / customers.
• Must be organized and able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously on schedule.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with the use of MS Excel, and other Office products.
• Must have working knowledge of JD Edwards required; Syteline, Syspro, and Epicor preferred.
• Must have experience within related purchase commodities associated with OEM mobile equipment manufacturing
• Travel is minimal. Must be effective with virtual meetings.
