Job Description
Primary Function: Coordinates, creates and posts original, engaging and branded content across all UNI social media platforms; manages day-to-day content using social media management tools; serves as a contact for the official social media channels of the university; monitors, analyzes and responds to social media content; provides regular metrics and reports to the University Relations team; and evaluates emerging social media platforms and trends.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; at least one year of experience in social media, digital media, marketing or related field; experience working with a variety of social media platforms; excellent writing, communication and proofreading skills; versatility in writing styles, including social media, web content and marketing copy; experience capturing and editing photos/videos and creating graphics using Adobe Creative suite and other tools; and attention to detail and ability to multitask required. Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics reporting preferred. Student experience will be considered. Occasional work outside normal office hours and occasional travel will be necessary.
