Animal Care Attendant jobs in Bridgeport, CT

Shaggy Coos Farm is a female operated dairy farm and small equine facility. Located in Easton, CT we are looking for to fill a part time opening to assist with cleaning animal pens and milking WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST.

THIS POSITION IS FOR MAINLY AFTERNOON HOURS INCLUDING WEEKENDS WITH SOME AM HOURS AVAILABLE.

shift normally starts around 4:00 pm

Summary of day to day tasks

· Care for animals in a professional and efficient manner.

- Milk cows and maintain herd health following SOPs

· Water and feed horses according to feeding instructions.

· Provide professional service to members at all times.

Care for other animals including chickens, turkeys, and pigs will be required.

Minimum requirements

No specific education requirements for this position. Experience working with horses preferred but will train qualified individual.

Abilities required

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to perform physical duties required to work directly with horses and cows.
