Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs, a strong work ethic and desire to be part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and support for animals in the facility
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals

-Monitor playgroups

-Assist with transport arrivals
- Feed, water, and medicate dogs as needed
- Handle animals with care and compassion

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience living or working with dogs and have basic dog body language experience.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in need, making a positive impact on their lives.

Requirements:

Applicants must be comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs.

Ability to stand for up to 4 hours.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
