Animal Technician, Sr. jobs in North Dakota

The Department of Animal Sciences at North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND is seeking a Agricultural Research Technician to support the farm activities and care of animals. This person would

• Care and maintenance of livestock used in research and education
• Care and maintenance of research buildings, equipment, and machinery
• Assist in supervision of student help
• Preparation of feedstuffs for animal diets
• Assist in farming and forage production, when needed

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Advertised Salary:

$40,000 /year DOE

Minimum Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma with one year of directly-related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with machinery operation and animal husbandry
