Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Gift Shop Clerk to join our team at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio. This is a Full Time or Part Time, individual contributor role within the Hospitality/Restaurant industry. As a Gift Shop Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their purchases and providing them with exceptional customer service. Flexible schedule to include weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Sell merchandise and process payments accurately
- Keep the gift shop well-stocked and organized at all times
- Maintain knowledge of current merchandise, promotions, and sales
- Answer guest inquiries, provide recommendations, and address any complaints or concerns
- Create visually appealing displays and merchandise presentations
- Keep track of inventory, place orders, and receive and label merchandise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and security procedures
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check
