    The Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Creighton Prep, reporting to the Director of Major and Planned Giving, leads initiatives to generate current-use support from alumni, parents, and friends. The primary focus is on strategically executing a comprehensive annual giving program, utilizing communication and solicitation strategies such as direct mail, email, personal visits and volunteer engagement. Responsibilities include designing and implementing annual campaigns, collaborating with members across the Advancement Team, and representing Creighton Prep at donor-related events.

    Principal Job Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the Director of Major and Planned Giving to align annual giving goals and priorities with the school's operating needs and mission, and develop strategic plans to achieve these goals using available resources.
    • Develop and execute an annual communication solicitation plan in collaboration with the Advancement Communications team.
    • Partner with the Director of Prospect Development and Database Management to develop annual fund appeal tracking and reporting to measure ROI and annual fund performance.
    • Collaborate with gift officers to secure strong participation for annual giving from prospects in portfolios.
    • Work closely with Alumni Relations to implement a robust young alumni giving program.
    • Working with Donor Relations, establish and maintain a comprehensive stewardship program, including thanking Annual Fund donors in a meaningful and personal way.
    • Oversee and manage the annual donor report, ensuring data accuracy and compelling, meaningful content.
    • Utilize annual giving societies to strengthen the foundations of the AMDG Fund. Enhance and ensure personalized recognition of all donors recognized in annual giving societies.
    • Maintain and monitor the annual fund budget.
    • Stay informed about annual giving best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies while simultaneously cultivating a professional network of colleagues at other institutions to serve as a resource for new ideas.
    • Establish and build relationships, steward, cultivate, and engage with donors for sustainable annual giving.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of professional development experience, preferable in secondary or higher education.
    • Preferred experience in marketing and communications.
    • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
    • Demonstrates high levels of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness and personal accountability.
    • Possess effective analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Exhibits excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management skills.
    • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituents.
    • Shows attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.
    • Manage, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Adheres to administrative and operational policies of Creighton Prep, consistent with the institution’s expectations.
