The Annual Giving Associate Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen The Jackson Laboratory’s individual annual giving program. The Annual Giving Associate Director will focus on expanding The Jackson Laboratory’s annual giving program, with a goal of significantly increasing the base of annual fund support of gifts up to $1,000. This role reports to the Director of Advancement Analytics. Key Responsibilities Include: The Annual Giving Associate Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen The Jackson Laboratory’s individual annual giving program. The Assistant Director builds, deploys, and analyzes solicitation and cultivation efforts to achieve fundraising goals. The Annual Giving Associate Director will focus on expanding The Jackson Laboratory’s annual giving program, with a goal of significantly increasing the base of annual fund support of gifts up to $1,000. This role reports to the Director of Advancement Analytics. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3 or more years of experience in fundraising, with proven track record in annual giving. Well versed in multi-channel direct response and direct mail and email best practices including writing and developing messaging, building segmentation, and solicitation strategies Skilled in collection, organization, and analysis of data related to donor giving; ability to use data to drive donor acquisition and retention. Proficient with donor database use and management (Raisers Edge required) Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp preferred) Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication. Positive attitude and a passion for fulfilling the organization’s mission. Pay Range: $73,305 - $122,730 based on total years of prior related experience.
