Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for the annuities application process. Assists applicants and checks forms for completeness and accuracy. Being an Annuities Representative (New Business) ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Reviews all fund transfers such as tax-free fund transfers, direct transfers and direct rollovers for completeness and compliance. Additionally, Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, agents, financial institutions and internal departments. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) license. Job Description:
New Business Sales Representatives main goal is generating new business opportunities and leads for their counterparts in Virtucom’s Field Sales team. Much of the time this role is focused on driving specific initiatives, product launches or promotions to potential new clients via cold calling, email and social media. This role will provide opportunities to sell solutions across Virtucom’s portfolio (services, hardware and software). In addition, there are multiple career paths for top performers that desire advancement within the EdTech industry. Virtucom continues to grow rapidly, and this role is critical as we work to further expand our footprint throughout the US. This position is based out of our NEW Headquarters in Peachtree Corners.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Spend 75% of your time calling, emailing and using LinkedIn for Outreach
- Utilize CRM (HubSpot), cold calling and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Set up Meetings or Calls between prospective customers and Field Sales team members
- Report to Sales Manager with weekly, monthly and quarterly results
Qualifications:
- Have a strong desire to be in sales
- Have experience with cold calling, upselling, cross selling, etc.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and a drive to succeed
