Annuities Retention Specialist coordinates with service representatives and clients to assist with retaining the client's annuity business. Provides knowledge and expertise to clients in order to meet their financial goals and to clearly understand various options that are available with annuities. Being an Annuities Retention Specialist reviews surrender requests and contacts clients to re-engage and identify opportunities for additional sales. Makes recommendations to product line management to improve service and design of products that encourage client retention. Additionally, Annuities Retention Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Annuities Retention Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     DESCRIPTION

    As a Recruitment & Retention Specialist on our Human Resources team, you will have the opportunity for work including: 
    • Identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on agency needs.
    • Providing coordination and management of position posting process including:
      • Receipt of position posting requests
      • Entry and upload of new position posting requisitions into recruitment and applicant tracking system, cross listings, and listing management.
    • Identifying community recruitment opportunities and acting as our agency representative within community-based staff recruitment events, outreach, and strategic partnerships.
    • Providing customer service for interested candidates.
    • Coordinating the employment process to include:
      • Posting positions and monitoring posting performance in applicant tracking system
      • Onboarding processes of preparing and sending offer letters
      • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and entry into our human resources information system
    • Serving as point of contact for candidates through the onboarding process.
    • Providing face-to-face onboarding support to new employees through first week of employment based on program needs.
    • Prepare personnel files for site managers for new hires in alignment with human resources best practices, licensing/funder requirements.
    • Support onboarding employee training and development needs.
    • Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with all new employees.
    • Serving as initial point of contact for manager and employee questions to human resources department.
    • Responding to employee relations needs following processes and other legally mandated guidelines.
    • Supporting staff needs via ongoing communication and awareness of Employee Assistance Program and other relevant community services as appropriate.
    • Supporting employee training and development needs throughout the employee lifecycle.
    • Conducting exit interviews to identify ways to improve staff retention.

    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A full list of job responsibilities will be provided prior to an interview.     Education and Experience
    Required: Four-year degree in human resources, communication studies, or applicable related field with one or more years of staff recruitment and retention related job duties required. A combination of experience and education may be substituted for the qualifications stated previously. Preferred: In addition to required education at least five years of experience in a staff recruitment and retention role. PHR/SHRM-CP certification is preferred but not required. Experience working in a non-profit environment for one or more years preferred.
