Annuities Retention Specialist jobs in Montgomery, AL

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Student Retention Coordinator within the Student Services department. This position serves to support the retention efforts primarily for traditional students. This individual will collaborate with all constituencies across campus to achieve the engagement and retention initiatives for the university. This position reports directly to the Vice President for Student Services.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 10-month (August-May) position.

Summary of Duties:

• Develop strategies to train and involve faculty and staff in retention initiatives and processes
• Report and analyze ongoing retention data; work with Institutional Research staff to qualify and verify statistics
• Monitor the student referral system that provides consultation, outreach and support for students in need of additional resources for success
• Assist in the training of faculty and staff on the student referral system
• Assist with the student engagement and retention project (Credo) and coordination of the project teams
• Work with other departments and student groups to report engagement in student groups, athletics, local faith communities, and student organizations
• Conduct focus groups and surveys among the students
• Assist with various projects and activities conducted by student services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of two years related experience preferred
