Being an Annuities Retention Specialist reviews surrender requests and contacts clients to re-engage and identify opportunities for additional sales. Makes recommendations to product line management to improve service and design of products that encourage client retention. Additionally, Annuities Retention Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Annuities Retention Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Responsible for researching, analyzing and documenting procedures and workflows for business operations and call centers. Identify gaps and inconsistencies, improve processes in procedures and transaction processing, and support training, major projects and initiatives. Essential Job Functions Works independently with applicable business operations, call centers and our Clients to document procedures. Identifies gaps in service, inconsistencies, analyze root cause and recommend and implement solutions. Communicates procedural changes/updates and system issues to the business operations and call centers. Remains informed of and maintains proficiency with applicable company products and systems. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or related field preferred. Three or more years of experience in the life insurance or annuity business. Experience working with company software, systems, applications and network products. Other Qualifications Experience with Genworth products, systems and processes Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly. Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized project. Analytical skills. Organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a remote role working EST hours. Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $50,900 - $94,400. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
