Operations Support Service Representative

Job Description: 
Effective document management and processing throughout the company begins with the work that is done in Operations Support Service.  Because of the variety of documents that come in, Representatives will become familiar with the various operational functions of Americo’s many departments.

We are currently looking for a Representative (Trainee to Senior) in our Operations Support Service Department. The Representatives in this department have the critical job of supporting all departments at Americo, as well as our Policyholders and Agents.  They are responsible for a diverse set of functions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review all incoming mail and prep each item to be scanned into the system
• Review documents and accurately identify all departments they need to be assigned
• Retrieve the company’s archives when requested by the business
• Sort and deposit incoming checks, accurately recording each transaction
• Update addresses in the various administrative systems for policy holder and agents
• Process returned correspondence and conduct research to identify the correct mailing addresses
• Follow special procedures for international correspondence, completing searches for policies

Job Qualifications: 
Individuals interested in the Operations Support Service Representative position must have a combination of good typing skills, education, a professional mindset and a solid work history.  PC skills and typing at least 50 WPM are highly preferred.  We are looking for a detail oriented self-starter, who is also a team player with a strong work ethic.
