Appeal Resolution Manager jobs in Virginia Beach, VA

We are looking for a Legal Specialist/Paralegal specializing in Legal Account Resolution Specialists/Legal Collectors. You will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts through the legal collection process, filing directly with the courts, and maintaining the Attorney’s calendar for court appearances.

Rate: $15.00 - $20.00 (Flexible pursuant to experience)

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and without supervision, ability to conduct oneself professionally, in an unbiased manner, exercising sound independent judgment and ability to consistently exercise discretion on matters of significance to Firm. Attention to detail and organization are a must.

Duties:

· Open and maintain client files and ensure accuracy of data

· Process and properly record payments

· File appropriate forms and orders with both the General District and Circuit Courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia

· Communicate effectively with courts, clients, and debtors

· Comply with all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
