Title: Application Specialist
Reports to: IT Manager

Position Summary: Responsible for supporting technology applications at Harris Doyle Homes by providing direct support to team members in the Home Office, in the Field, and serve as subject matter expert on sometimes one or more products. They will be involved in maintaining product stability, data integrity, and application use productivity.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Supports and administers enterprise applications including configuration, maintenance, data validation, and develops concepts and documentation. The primary application is currently Kova.
· Tests, troubleshoots, corrects, and uses diagnostics to resolve application problems. Escalates issues to Lead Application Specialist for solutions.
· Provides daily and proactive monitoring of enterprise applications.
· Contributes to the updating of documentation and procedures.
· Assists Lead Application Specialist in orienting user personnel on new or changed procedures.
· Remains up to date on Kova updates and new system capabilities.
· Works alongside Lead Application Specialist to assist where directed.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in computer information systems or related field; OR two (2) years of applied work experience in software support services required. (Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.)
· Relevant knowledge of residential construction industry
· Must be able to work in a divisional HD office
· Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and self-motivation
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Great attention to detail, with organizational and prioritization skills.
· Willingness and skills necessary to determine the solution and root cause of issues.
· Ability and willingness to learn innovative technologies.
· Ability to do in-depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues.
· Ability to complete all work tasks with minimal supervision.
· Excellent time management skills to prioritize workload.
· Equally successful working independently and as a part of a team.
· Ability to communicate and interact with both technical and non-technical users.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
· Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
· Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
· Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
Travel Requirements:
· Occasional travel to other divisional locations.
