Job Summary:

As an Applications Support Specialist at Unis, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our software applications that underpin our logistics and package delivery operations. You will be responsible for resolving application-related issues, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our technology-driven processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Support:

   • Provide first-line support for software applications, including troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues.
   • Monitor system performance and proactively address any performance or availability issues.

2. Issue Resolution:

   • Investigate and diagnose application-related problems, working closely with end-users to understand and resolve issues promptly.
   • Document support tickets, resolutions, and maintain a knowledge base for reference.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities for application updates, patches, and enhancements.
   • Ensure that applications are working as expected and meet performance standards.

4. User Training:

   • Provide user training and guidance on application features and best practices.
   • Assist in the creation of user documentation and training materials.

5. Data Management:

   • Manage data integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
   • Collaborate with database administrators to maintain data accuracy.

6. Application Improvement:

   • Identify areas for application improvement and optimization to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
   • Collaborate with the IT team to implement improvements and updates.

7. Reporting:

   • Generate and distribute reports related to application performance, issue resolution, and user feedback.
   • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in application support or a related IT role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting application issues and providing technical support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with logistics and package delivery operations is a plus.
