Applications Systems Analyst jobs in Abilene, TX

Contacts newly privileged physicians and staff to arrange system training support. Serves as a bridge between end users and the implementation staff. Works with staff and Clinical Educators to enhance application tools for efficiency. Reviews and analyzes the EMR, to include testing, troubleshooting and installation assistance to support an organization's EMR software applications.

• Minimum Education
  • High School
• Minimum Work Experience
  • 1-3 years in a healthcare setting
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Ability to present educational information to individual and/or small groups in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of EMR software applications
  • Knowledge of Windows system level operation
  • Prior experience in product development for healthcare strongly preferred
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Strong background in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Clinical or Meidcal office experience.
