Position Overview: This position supports the delivery of Sales Performance - Urban Science client services on an account team. The position is focused on both technical & client handling skills, with a heavier focus on client handling and relationship building. While assisting in fostering client relationships, the incumbent will assist in monthly updates, quarterly updates, client ad-hoc support, client market study consultation, client training, etc. The role may be required to collaborate with Solution Engineering & Implementation (SEI) teams to successfully deliver Sales Performance-related solutions that meet the client’s business requirements at the direction of the Sr. Manager. This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Plano, TX. Candidate must be available and willing to work in person in our Plano, TX office up to two days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- With limited guidance, plans organizes, develops, and delivers client-requested reports, deliverables, and projects on time, adhering to client-requested specifications.
- Designs, creates, and manages client databases, utilizing Urban Science proprietary software, ensuring accurate and high-quality data.
- Serves as a contact for, and develops relationships with, the client in order to assist in effectively responding to client requests and inquiries.
- Acquires and maintains a thorough understanding of client data for assigned projects in order to properly create client deliverables.
- Assumes responsibility for accurate and high-quality data being utilized on assigned projects.
- Accurately performs application coding and testing functions associated with the development of custom client software.
- Tracks, processes, analyzes, and verifies data to improve accuracy and quality.
- Use technical skills to accurately monitor, update, and maintain Urban Science's internal software systems.
- Attends project meetings to document meeting notes and stay up to date on project deliverables.
- Partners with internal teams to ensure that software is properly installed, set up, and functioning at established quality levels.
- Adheres to quality control standards for Urban Science and client organizations.
- Coordinates with individuals or teams to complete analyses, tasks, and projects on time and with high quality.
- Proactively communicates with management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
- Actively works with the manager to understand and implement solutions to improve NPS (client satisfaction).
- Actively supports and participates in required Urban Science training programs to achieve targeted development objectives.
- Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
- Provides training and coaching to Analysts as directed and assumes responsibility for reviewing the accuracy and quality of their work.
- Works with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Education and Experience

- Database: Requires strong technical proficiency with SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues. Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), including designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Proficiency in either C# or Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data manipulation and integration. In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and database management systems (DBMS). Experience in database administration tasks such as performance tuning, indexing, and maintaining data integrity. Familiarity with data warehousing principles and practices.
- Technical/Software: Must have proficiency in at least one of the major coding languages, namely VBA, C#, or Python, with a preference for C#. The ability to maintain existing automation in SSIS software is also required. Must be extremely proficient in SQL (see Database section above)
- Technical Documentation and Reporting: Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting guides. Proficiency in generating reports and data analysis using SQL and other relevant tools.
- Verbal Communication: Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, understanding their technical requirements, and providing solutions. Demonstrated experience in delivering technical presentations, conducting training sessions, and handling client inquiries or concerns.

Requires knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple concurrent tasks is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- University degree required; technical background strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role.
