Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.


    We are seeking a full time Systems Analyst. The role of the Systems Analyst is to manage and support the health information related systems and software applications for the organization. This role with have oversight and responsibility for supporting the agency electronic health record and administrative systems such as Compliatric, and Microsoft o365, etc. In addition to system support, the Systems Analyst will create reports in the organization’s selected reporting platforms and present operational, financial, and clinical data in a meaningful and easy-to-use format for users. The Systems Analyst will develop and create solutions that support operational efficiencies, utilize information, and assist the organization in maintaining a competitive edge as it relates to health information-related technology solutions. This position will be directly involved and deliver high-level customer support to staff across the agency and take lead in being a primary knowledge owner of software applications adopted by the organization. This position will report directly to the Director of Health Information & Innovation to support the HIT needs of the organization. 


      

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manages and supports health record and other health information-related applications (e.g. SmartCare, Compliatric, Microsoft o365, etc.)
    • Acts as lead knowledge owner (Super User) and point of contact for staff support and customer service
    • Provides application support and utilizes HIT tracking systems such as Teams and Fresh Service to maintain organized support inquiries
    • Proactively communicates with staff about changes and/or updates as it relates to HIT software applications 
    • Ensures the EHR system is kept up to date with upgrades, fixes, and build packages
    • Manages assigned HIT projects independently and takes responsibility in leading implementation or change efforts as necessary
    • Develops solutions to address workflow inefficiencies or to support ongoing organizational compliance
    • Maintains account management within the health record application (users, EPCS, and set up alike)
    • Develop user-friendly and visually appealing data reports to end users through the use of the organization’s analytics platform (Power BI)
    • Performs quality checks on solutions and data being delivered before rolling out to users
    • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on clinical and technical needs
    •  Promote expansion and scaling of existing platforms for innovative industry growth
    • Aids staff in resolving issues with data integrity. 
    • Data Content expert related to both clinical outcome and electronical health record requirements
    • Participate in proactive research and self-education activities to ensure knowledge of both the Crisis Care grant/funding source and other clinical outcome requirements is complete and current
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Must maintain a highly professional demeanor; communicate effectively with staff, other agencies, or systems, including the public. Must be detail, quality and deadline driven. 
    • This individual must abide by the agency code of ethics policy. Incorporates CQI techniques into daily work activities. 

    Requirements

      Position Qualifications: 

    • Experience working in healthcare industry or with clinical outcome data 
    • Practical application in utilization of reporting applications such as SSRS and Microsoft Power BI
    • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to regulations and technology changes
    • Ability to work independently on a project as well as in a team setting
    • Three to five years of experience working directly with health record applications, reporting systems, and      Microsoft o365 applications
    • Bachelor’s degree with a combination of technical experience or other related combination of business technology degrees and/or certifications.
