APPRAISAL MANAGER jobs in the United States

APPRAISAL MANAGER manages the appraisal of residential and commercial properties. Investigates the fair market value and property ratings through analysis and inspection of properties. Being an APPRAISAL MANAGER ensures that the properties are in accordance with departmental specifications. Evaluates appraisal fee qualifications and consults findings with the Board. Additionally, APPRAISAL MANAGER ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certification are in compliance with all regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit or department. The APPRAISAL MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an APPRAISAL MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
