Establishes processes for conducting on-site inspections of property and data collection required to perform valuations. Being an APPRAISAL MANAGER follows generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certification comply with all regulations. Additionally, APPRAISAL MANAGER performs appraisal quality reviews to ensure appropriate valuation and minimize risk. Creates process efficiencies with appraisal software tools and databases. Position Summary- Appraisal Coordinator I
As an Appraisal Coordinator at AMC Encore, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of appraisal orders. Your responsibility will be to manage communication between clients, appraisers, and internal teams to facilitate timely and accurate appraisal processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is an Exempt position, which requires completing real estate appraisal review ranging from non-complex to highly complex assignments. The reviewer will work in an environment focused on achieving production and service goals while consistently exceeding customer service expectations.
Position Responsibilities
· Oversee the entire appraisal process from order placement to final delivery
· Act as the main point of contact for appraisers, clients, and lenders
· Ensure timely assignment of appraisals to appropriate appraisers based on location, qualification, and workload
· Monitor appraisal order status and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
· Utilize order management software to monitor the progress of current and outstanding orders.
· Review appraisal reports for completeness and compliance with client-specific guidelines
· Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally
· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to appraisal orders
· Maintain accurate records of all communications and documentation related to each appraisal order
· Coordinate with appraisers to ensure timely inspection scheduling and report submission
· Manage panel registration of appraiser profiles with AMC Encore and mortgage lenders.
· Provide support to other departments within the organization as needed.
· Other duties as assigned while we continue to grow the team and organization.
Position Requirements
· Experience in the appraisal, mortgage, or real estate industry preferred
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Familiarity with appraisal management software and basic office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
