Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) conducts commercial real estate appraisals and property ratings to establish the market value generally used for investment guidance, lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting and documenting on-site property inspections. Being an Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) performs data collection and research on building permits, prior assessments, and relevant market and economic conditions that impact property value. Reviews building plans and specifications and investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Additionally, Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. We are looking to expand to the Lewisburg area! We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills, high attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
· Conduct buyer and seller closings.
· Answer phone calls and greet guests.
· Coordinate remote closings.
· Work up files.
· Handle any and all complaints.
· Make visits/marketing to lenders and real estate agents as needed/requested. (in conjunction with the marketing representative.)
· Review and work to clear title issues for files.
· Schedules closings.
· Request updates of title at the time the closing is scheduled.
· Prepare CDs and balance with the lender.
· Prepare/review closing documents.
· Main point of contact for all outside parties for the assigned file.
· Follow company and lender disbursement requirements and provide them to the funding department.
· Maintain positive relationships with loan officers and real estate agents.
· Confirm/provide all information needed that is not handled by other BT departments.
· Review all title requirements are cleared and/or addressed to be cleared.
· Prepare draft/final CD.
· Coordinate with buyers/sellers/realtors and lenders in providing documentation to prepare for closing.
· Reach out to the File Assigned Attorney when legal questions/issues arise.
Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience with real estate procedures is a plus
