    About The Role:
    At CELTS Pool Management, the role of Aquatics Manager is crucial in providing guests and members with an exceptional experience. As an Aquatics Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the pool area, ensuring that it is safe and clean for everyone. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Under the general supervision of the Area Manager, the role of the Aquatic Manager includes enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of pool facilities. This includes managing and training personnel, as well as overseeing all swimming pool operations such as first aid, rotations, staff scheduling, public relations, janitorial duties, and limited pool maintenance, including cleaning. Excellent organizational, communication, and public relations skills are necessary for this position. The Aquatic Manager is a supervisory position requiring working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. They, along with their leadership team, are responsible for fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment for all employees, clients, and users of the aquatic facility. This position will be directly responsible for the Assistant Aquatic Manager/Supervisors, Head Guard/Swim Lesson Supervisor, Lifeguards/Swim Instructors, and other CELTS staff such as Pool operations, cashiers, aides, etc.   The Aquatic Manager is the day-to-day contact for all official CELTS programs, services, rentals, etc., within the facility. This includes proficiency within all CELTS  internal operating systems to achieve computerized rentals, registrations, cash register systems, etc.

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
    The certifications below are preferred, and candidates with these will be given priority. Training and certifications will be provided
    • Pool Operator’s Permit (CPO/AFO)
    • Lifeguard W/CPR/AED Professional Rescuer and First 
    • Lifeguard Instructor certification (preferred)
    Pay and Hours: 
    Earn up to $800 per week, depending on experience, with additional monthly and end-of-season incentive pay available. Position requires 38-40 hours per week, available for day and evening shifts, and weekend and holiday work.
