The AR Manager manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies. Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function. Being an AR Manager creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances. In addition, AR Manager audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The AR Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Oracle EBS System: 12.2.10
Oracle EBS AR Module : R12.AR.C10
Work required: Addressing Credit Memos within Oracle AR module. Consultant should be very independent and needs minimal guidance to complete the tasks.
Current: AR Module was implemented in VCI however, treatment of Credit Memo’s requires additional work. Current workaround is manual. Consultant should architect and implement a system solution to eliminate the manual work.
Desired Outcome / Acceptance Criteria: Allow Accounting users to clear credit memos directly in Oracle, instead of a manual workaround.
