AR Manager jobs in Newark, DE

The AR Manager manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies. Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function. Being an AR Manager creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances. In addition, AR Manager audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The AR Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     What You’ll Do:

    • Provide strategic communications counsel, integrated planning, and execution in support of senior leaders and our strategic priorities.
    • Develop effective internal communication campaigns that align with business strategies and initiatives, particularly as it relates to our Sustainability and Health Equity agenda.
    • Work with functional/cross-functional teams to develop and support comprehensive, integrated communication plans and campaigns that drive employee engagement around our values and priorities.
    • Oversee the strategic positioning and ongoing momentum of Power of US, our US enterprise-wide employee giving and volunteer platform

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field
    • 5 years of experience in public relations and/or in a corporate communications function or public relations agency
    • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
    • Experience utilizing content management systems and handling public relations agencies and other vendors

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with marketing and/or commercial communications
    • Corporate and internal communications experience
    • Experience in a leadership support role
