Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function. Being an AR Manager creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances. In addition, AR Manager audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The AR Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of Assistant AR Manager.
The duties will include but will not be limited to assisting the AR Manager with Census, Cash postings, Billings/Collections, resident/family meetings and correspondence.
The ideal candidate would be versed in SNF or LTCH Medicare, Medicaid, HMO knowledge and Matrix/PCC experience a plus. The position will report to the facilities AR Manger.
Other qualified Applicants would have other medical billing experience: OP Rehab, Inpatient Hospital or Hospice.
