Architect is responsible for performing design computations, compiling data, and completing rudimentary architectural assignments. Works from the designs of others to prepare sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs. Being an Architect prepares project estimates and completes architectural plans/renderings following specific instructions. Prepares reports and specifications as requested. Additionally, Architect may participate in an architectural internship or professional development program. May be working towards obtaining architecture license. Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Typically reports to a manager. The Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Job Summary:
    The Architect – Mid Level serves to work with Senior Architects to efficiently develop building designs utilizing Revit and associated BIM software. In addition, the Staff Architect coordinates with other in-house engineering disciplines to coordinate the designs of multiple projects.
    In this role, you will:
    • Work with Architectural Manager and other experienced architects on day-to-day tasks
    • Work with all design team disciplines daily
    • Attend meetings with clients and/or project team and perceive information critical for project success
    • Utilize creative insight and practical solutions
    • Research code requirements necessary for each design
    • Assist with and/or prepare any design presentations for the client
    • Develop and coordinate project documents from schematic design through construction administration
    • Delegate responsibilities within the team for efficient workflow
    • Communicate design recommendations
    • Meet established project budgets and schedules
    You will be a great fit if:
    • You have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture (or a four-year Bachelor of Science in Architecture Design degree)
    • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience
    • You are proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other visualization tools
    • You understand building codes and ADA requirements

    • Sensitive to the need to change their personal behavior quickly in order to effectively communicate and coordinate with others
    • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
