What You’ll Do
As a Lead Project Architect, you will design Kōz buildings from the ground up by applying our in-house best practices carefully developed and regularly updated to maximize living spaces ensuring that every resident has an experience above and beyond their expectation. You will also learn to work effectively with municipal entities to apply for and receive all necessary permits in a timely manner and to collaborate closely with your onsite superintendents to successfully manage construction administration activities ensuring your Kōz buildings are always completed on schedule and within budget.
In this role you will report directly to the Vice President of Design and Construction, one of two Kōz founders, who will help to develop your abilities and enable you to thrive in our collaborative, fast-paced, and strong team environment.

Where You’ll Work
Kōz is located in beautiful Snohomish Washington, a small town in rural Snohomish County less than an hour from downtown Seattle. Snohomish is a thriving historic place with a strong local business and service community and fabulous school district. Some team members walk to work from their nearby homes or Kōz apartments while others have short commutes from more rural locations offering ample space and privacy. Koz leads have the flexibility for occasional remote work when needed.
What You’ll Bring
Your proficiency in Autodesk Revit will allow you to contribute from your first day at Kōz. Your experiences in commercial projects, and especially including multifamily low-rise and mid-rise buildings will significantly boost the value you bring with you to Kōz, as will existing skills and experiences in construction administration, architectural detailing, commercial building standards, and zoning and building codes.

What You’ll Earn
Your salary is largely dependent on experience but is expected to start at $100,000 per year.
You will receive a generous annual, performance-based bonus.
