You will be challenged to take responsibility, drive results, show creativity, and display initiative - and you will be rewarded for your contributions and impact.Let’s explore the possibilities together.Job DescriptionThe RolePrepare complete sets of drawings that involve multiple views, detail drawings and assembly drawings of equipment, facilities, or systems. Maintain accurate up-to-date plant drawings.Key Accountabilities Manage drawings files and maintain plant standards documentation.Work with engineering and operations to create drawings for use in design and implementation of industrial manufacturing processes. Provide technical support to engineering, maintenance, and operations departments.Research and contact vendors for outsourced materials. Maintain a good relationship with individuals throughout the company and obtain information, answer questions, and provide assistance and support. Create and update engineering information documents.Serve as a member of the new product development team and assist in design, prototype construction, and validation testing.Participate in engineering improvements that enhance cost-reduction, manufacturability, functionality, and quality.QualificationsSuccessful candidate must be proficient in Auto CAD software and be able to create and revise engineering drawings. Candidate should possess a working knowledge with three or more years in advanced mechanical drawing experience with CAD programs.The qualified candidate must be well-organized and an independent problem solver who receives direction.Must possess a working understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering concepts. Must be self motivated and able to handle multiple assignments with minimum guidance. Must be able to use MS Word and Excel programs to process engineering documentation. Applicant must be detail oriented, with demonstrated capacity to learn new technologies and work successfully in a team environment. Experience should include process design, editing and creating multi-view drawings and sub-assemblies, as well as developing drawings from sketches and concepts. Experience compiling and presenting data in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
