    Job Description

    Semikron Danfoss in seeking a Regional Area Manager to join our Solutions Sales team in North America. The team’s role is to manage and grow existing accounts and seek new acquisition opportunities in the field of power electronics. Target markets are renewable energies (wind, solar), energy storage, hydrogen production, application-specific inverters/converters, EV fast charging, and power quality. Products of focus are intelligent power modules (IPM), custom/application-specific power electronic assemblies, and traction inverters for medium-power trucks, busses, and off-road vehicles.


    This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the United States, reporting to our office located in Hudson, New Hampshire.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Manage existing accounts with quotes, applications support, and routine development meetings.
    • Update and keep current all CRM activities including sales forecast, project management, pricing, and contact management.
    • Identify/target large customers and prospective OEMs and lead a team through the project and development acquisition.
    • Available for national and international travel. Travel is about 30%.
    • Communicate with end users to understand actual needs and propose solutions.
    • Work cross-functionally in collaboration with other team members
    • Fluent in English (bilingual a )

    Background & Skills

    The ideal candidate has these skills and certifications:



    • BS or BE of Engineering in either Electrical, Mechanical, or Physics
    • 3 years of sales or application engineering experience in the field of power electronics
    • Preferred experience in contract negotiation
    • Capable to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Capable of working with Microsoft CRM or Salesforce
    • Good written and verbal communication
    • Knowledge of commercial and legal contract review and negotiation
    • Able to present in front of a large audience either face-to-face or virtually.
    • Able to attend off-hour meetings due to the international environment.
