Purpose

Develop and grow automated test equipment (ATE) sales opportunities with US Army and Navy subsidiaries throughout the US.

Requirements

• BS in engineering or science; MBA preferred
• Five or more years of experience with sales, business development, and/or account management
• Experience selling to the US government, and/or in-depth knowledge and understanding of federal acquisition procedures
• Excellent presentation, proposal writing and negotiation skills
• High energy, motivation, and enthusiasm; hard worker and rapidly responsive communicator; personable and team oriented

Helpful Skills

• Experience with the specification, sales and/or use of automated test equipment
• Advanced knowledge/use of MS PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM, LinkedIN and social media
• Veteran of the US armed services, Army or Navy preferred
• Conversant with digital transformation including the digital thread and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with any of these ATE application areas a plus:
  • Design validation and verification of electronic products and systems
  • High-channel, high-throughput data acquisition
  • Systems integration lab (SIL) validation and certification testing
  • PCBA manufacturing functional test
  • Li-ion battery energy storage system, and battery management system (BMS) testing

Responsibilities

Create and execute plans to develop and grow new automated test equipment (ATE) sales opportunities and order bookings to US Army and Navy subsidiaries throughout the US via outbound sales and marketing efforts. Support the company’s mission to provide automated test solutions for mission-critical and emerging applications which increase product safey, performance and reliability while reducing the cost of test.

Location
Company headquarters in South Windsor, CT with travel to customers, tradeshows and events throughout the US.
