An exciting Laboratory Manager opening just became available in northwestern Oregon.

The Lab Manager will join an award winning hospital that was voted the most wired by the College of Health Information Management Executives’ Digital Health. The Lab Manager will join a health system that offers continual growth and opportunity to develop throughout one’s career.

Reporting to the Lab Director, the Lab Manager will lead a high-volume laboratory that offers an array of hospital testing services. This person will supervise laboratory operations to include guidance in the distribution of workload to maintain quality and efficiency, maintain effective communication of chemical testing results, and work closely with the laboratory management team in order to achieve efficiency.

The Laboratory Manager will provide support in hiring and orienting new staff, assist in outside lab testing, shipping, and supply orders, and validate that all quality control procedures and documentation are in compliance. Prior leadership experience in a laboratory testing setting, ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification, an Oregon CLS License, familiarity with OSHA guidelines and a Bachelor’s degree will make for quick interviews!
