Art Director Assistant assists the Art Director with all phases of design projects to ensure successful project completion. Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. The Art Director Assistant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Primary Job Responsibilities:
Supports operations by welcoming clients, clearly describing classes, lessons, and policies to new or existing clients, maintaining office systems and procedures, and supervising teaching staff. Shift on Saturdays from 9:15-3:45 p.m.
Duties Include:
Greeting clients and staff.
Answering questions and giving information to potential or current clients concerning programs, lessons, and classes offered through phone, email, or in person conversation.
Managing teaching staff’s schedules and students by using Google Calendars.
Registering new students while describing academy classes, lessons, and policies, and scheduling lesson/appointment times with various staff teachers.
Updating Facebook (posts and ads).
Setting up for art classes must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Keeping Office and all waiting areas clean and tidy including restrooms.
Filing and restocking supplies.
Required skills:
Must demonstrate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Calendars.
Attention to detail and precision in organizational skills.
Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution, and ability to handle clients’ questions and concerns with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Proven ability to perform in a self-directed environment, and able to be proactive and positive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative and willing to learn.
Experience:1 years in office management, or outstanding customer service record and organizational and computer skills.
