We also help design, manufacture, install and distribute Sigma Escape Experiences for operators worldwide, a new industry leading line of escape room attractions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Props Artisan & Scenic Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prop painting and scenic design, with a focus on creating visually stunning and immersive environments. This individual will be responsible for bringing concepts to life through the painting and finishing of 3D props, set pieces, and scenic elements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative team members to develop concepts and designs for props and scenic elements.
• Utilize various painting techniques and materials to achieve desired textures, colors, and finishes for props and scenic elements.
• Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure proper preparation and priming of surfaces prior to painting.
• Maintain consistency and quality across multiple pieces through careful color matching and application.
• Participate in on-site installations and provide support as needed to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in scenic painting and finishing techniques.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in prop painting and scenic design, preferably in a creative environment.
• Proficiency in a variety of painting techniques, including airbrushing, faux finishing, and aging/distressing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately from concept sketches and design plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
