Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. The role of Gallery Manager is to manage the daily operations of our new 5,000 sq ft art gallery in Alpharetta. Including managing two part-time employees, exhibitions, client services, and facility maintenance. They should not be afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large. The successful candidate should have a pleasant, supportive demeanor and positive energy. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with face-to-face customer service! We are seeking an experienced art consultant with exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. The candidate should have a strong background in fine art sales or experience in other high-end sales environments. Primary responsibilities include working with existing clients as well as generating new client leads, closing new sales, and maintaining long term client relationships. There will be opportunities for involvement in marketing strategies and campaigns, development of our online presence and oversight of some day-to-day functions in the gallery. We are looking for someone who can sell art while being polished and professional, enthusiastic, collaborative, and approachable. You do not have to be an artist for this job.
This position is full time Wednesday – Sunday.
