Position Summary

Guides are essential to The Artist Tree team! You are responsible for curating our guest experience by providing a friendly, informed guidance to customers. They will further the creative and communal goals of the company while adhering to company procedures and cannabis regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cheerfully guide guests through product selection process to meet their personal needs
• Build rapport with customers and foster approachable and welcoming store environment
• Help cultivate repeat customer base through brand loyalty program and data retention
• Possess strong product knowledge and understanding of cannabis use and effects
• Effectively communicate the safe use of our products
• Process all cash and charge transactions according to house procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Soft skills: ability to communicate effectively with guests, patience with different demographic of guests, willingness to learn cannabis product and provide a safe experience. If you're chill and have a positive attitude, you should definitely apply!
• Qualifications: Must be 21 or older. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. English speaking or bilingual. Operate POS. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable. Reliable transportation.
• Physical Requirements: Standing and walking for long periods of time. Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 30 lbs. of bulk goods. Exposure to cleaning agents.
• Previous one (1) or more years experience as "Budtender" or Inventory Specialist preferred. Basic knowledge of state and local compliance laws preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
