Duties and Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Hand assemble and/or monitor machine assembly of various filters and components as per Process Instructions in assigned work areas.
• Operate and monitor assembly line machines and activities promptly referring any problems to supervision.
• Perform minor assembly line set up duties in preparation for assembly operations.
• Obtain inspection report approval from department supervision.
• Meet established unit production standards while ensuring the inspection of all work to prevent processing defective products.
• Complete necessary paperwork including quality records, scrap reports and machine logs. Report production as required through the computer system.

Requirements for the Assembly position:

• Education: Eighth-grade education required, high school education preferred.
• Experience: Three or more months of assembly line experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Skills: General physical dexterity, machine monitoring and the ability to adapt to different workstations in various areas.
