Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Fabricate or modify parts using various tools and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external contractors
- Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus
