**Overview**
ON1Y Network is seeking post-production (partners) in our video editing department. These partners are paid on the backend of TV/film assignments worked based on subscription sales through revenue share. Please don't apply if you don't understand this concept or have any reservations.
We are seeking highly skilled Video Editors to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in video editing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. The successful applicants will be responsible for editing a variety of video content, from promotional videos to featured films. They will work closely with our production team to ensure that all video projects meet our high standards for quality and engagement.
**Responsibilities**
- Edit video footage for a range of projects, including promotional videos, television series, and social media content
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and other team members to develop and refine video concepts
- Use video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, and Wasabi to edit and produce high-quality video content
- Apply motion graphics, photo editing, and 2D animation skills to enhance video projects
- Conduct research to find relevant footage, music, and other visual elements for video projects
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time
- Ensure all video projects are optimized for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and TV broadcasts
- Provide feedback and guidance to other team members to improve their video editing skills
**Requirements**
- Strong experience in video editing using Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or other video editing software
- Proven skills in motion graphics, photo editing, and 2D animation
- Knowledge of film and video production techniques
- Experience with Maya or other 3D animation software is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field. Proven work equivalent accepted w/o degree.
- A portfolio of previous video editing work in TV/ film is required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $27.13 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
