Assistant Bookstore Director jobs in Rock Hill, SC

Assistant Bookstore Director manages one or several activities related to the operation of a university/college bookstore. Purchases new books, coordinates the sale of used books, orders new inventory as needed. Being an Assistant Bookstore Director ensures that the textbook inventory is aligned with the needs and class schedule of the students. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Bookstore Director typically reports to a bookstore director. The Assistant Bookstore Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Assistant Bookstore Director typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     As an Assistant Director, you will:
    • Become trained in all areas to serve as director in their absence, including accounting, budgeting, and others as assigned.
    • Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing according to company guidelines.
    • Assist with compliance of all licensing, training and safety requirements.
    • Assist in ensuring our global education curriculum, branding and age-appropriate learning are being utilized.
    • Support the center Director with managing classroom schedules and staff to run efficiently for all positions within the center.
    • Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed
    • Develop rapport with families, staff, and leadership to communicate student goals and provide superior customer service.
    Requirements:
    • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field required.
    • Minimum of two years' experience working in a licensed childcare facility
    • Six months of leadership experience preferred
