Assistant Coach (Major Sport) jobs in Fort Wayne, IN

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate youth sports classes and programs: Ensuring equipment is set up, instructors are prepared, lead program as needed, provide excellent communication, and provide outstanding customer service.

OUTCOMES:

• Program equipment will be set up before the program starts and cleaned up after the program ends
• Equipment will be in good condition or replaced
• Handle and resolve membership concerns, inform supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked equipment area
• Inventory supplies
• Complete weekly tasks as assigned
• Attend and maintain all training/certifications required for the position
• Any other duty as directed by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check, drug screen
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community in a positive manner

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting; using computer, copier, telephone often
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, occasionally move 75 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
