JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, club sport coaches recruit student athletes; assist in the scheduling of games, conducts practices for the assigned team, and contributes to the educational mission of the University by offering direction and instruction in the area of club sports.

% of Time
50% Instruct, teach and assist in the development of players during practices; follow and conform to league rules and regulations.
20% Actively coach team during games/scrimmages
15% Recruit players for the following year and tracts make scholarship recommendations.
10% Transports and supervise players when traveling.
5% Provide accurate data to Director of Club Sports about the team and its members.

ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS:
The functions of the position usually performed standing, but may require some amount of time sitting. Some amount of stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying and other movements may be required. Tasks involving instruction in fitness activities involve running, walking and lifting. Tasks involve working on a computer keyboard, typewriter, calculator, cutting, labeling, and taping involve involves extensive wrist and hand movements. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others.
