Position Description:

UST MFG LLC is looking for an ambitious finance professional to join our accounting team as an Assistant Controller! Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

· Support the Controller in managing the general ledger and month-end close process

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

· Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during financial audits

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

· Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

· Review and ensure the correct posting of entries by other staff

· Provide support for special projects as assigned.

· Assist in the guidance and training of staff

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; with at least 2 years related quality experience in a financial environment.

Competencies/skill Qualifications:

· Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software required.

· Experience with statistical analysis such as design of experiments, process capability studies, gauge reliability and reparability. Capability in these disciplines must be previously demonstrated.

· Excellent written communication, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills required.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and consumers.

· Prior experience in food or chemical manufacturing environments a plus.

· English Proficiency required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
