In partnership with the Branch and Market managers, the Assistant Branch Manager - Market supports the day-to-day operations and drives the strategic direction of all market branches by supporting branch achievement of exceptional member experience scores, meeting operational, sales, service, and compliance goals, fostering team member development to promote employee retention, and growth and creating an environment that aligns to our mission, vision, and values. The Assistant Branch Manager - Market generates new business through community outreach, acquiring new memberships, and improving retention and growth of existing relationship.
What you will do here:
In partnership with Branch and market leadership, lead efforts to ensure exceptional member experience and drive sales and business development performance
Operate as the primary leader in the absence of the Branch Manager, ensuring seamless branch operations. Partner with the Market Manager and Branch Managers to manage daily tasks and strategic initiatives. Oversee and travel to multiple branch locations, both remotely and in person. Ensure compliance with procedures, policies and processes.
Coach and mentor employees, pinpointing areas for training in sales and service. Foster an environment of continuous learning, and professional growth. Mentor and prepare emerging leaders within the Senior role. Utilize effective coaching methods that create a motivating, welcoming and performance driven culture
Champion our organizational values and culture across all branches. Create environments that strongly reflect our Mission, Vision and Values. Lead Market-wide volunteer initiatives, strengthening community ties and team unity
Set and maintain exceptional Member service standards. Leverage CRM to ensure that branch employees proactively identify opportunities to support Membership on their journey to Financial Wellness. Strengthen ties and collaboration with other business lines to optimize member experience. Support internal and external sales and service programs to achieve branch goals, including business development and community outreach. Avidly promote and educate member and staff on the click, call and come in strategic priority.

What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
2 years of experience in Financial Services Sales and Service required.
1 years of experience in a Leadership role required.
1 years Cash handling experience preferred.
Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing challenges and implementing effective solutions. Ability to make decisions under pression and resolve conflicts as they arise required.
Comfort with using banking software, CRM systems, and other relevant technology for member service and virtual team member support required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to oversee daily operations at multiple locations required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
In depth understanding of credit union operations, financial products and services. Ability to understand and drive branch performance indicators to achieve set targets required.
Advanced customer service skills to ensure a positive member experience with ability to handle member inquiries, complaints, and complex issues with professionalism required.
Strong collaborative skills to work with diverse groups of leaders, team members, departments, and senior leaders to ensure shared success required.
Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate team members required.
