If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.Major responsibilities- Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions- Prepare financial outlooks and forecasts- Take ownership of insurance and risk management- Compare monthly operating results against budget- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff- Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans- Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Develop and monitor an organizational structure in order to accomplish department goals and objectives- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department- Direct all financial reporting preparation- Comply with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements- Review and maintain budgeting and forecasting models
