Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Finance/Insurance Assistant to join our team. The Finance/Insurance Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the finance/insurance department in various administrative and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with billing/insurance transactions
- Process correspondence including faxes, emails, mail
- Answer incoming calls; call customers regarding their account
- Interact with insurance companies to follow-up on pre-authorizations/predeterminations
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Interact with other departments to ensure billing/insurance integrity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for variable work schedule
- Proficient in data entry, computer skills
- Proficient in basic math calculations
